Now interesting part comes into play. You have two IP addresses, you must assign one IP address to your Windows machine. And another one will be assigned inside guest OS (Linux). When you finished installing your Linux, VMWare automatically configures it to be located inside your internal network, without any real IP addresses. We must fix that.
Hetzner Installing Windows
I have a dedicated server from Hetzner network.They are have about 500mbps download /300mbps upload speed. But when i install windows server (server 2012 and 2019) that upload speed is very down about 15-20mbps.
I use iis with default config. My test file is 3.7gb iso file. When i download from windows iis website i get 1.5megabyte/s speed from my home(i have 50mbps internet). But when i try it with linux rescue system and apache2 i got 6megabyte/s speed from my home. So my home maximum download speed already 5-6mb/s. But i dont understand why getting slower when i try it on server 2012 and 2019. I try many think, i need help.
My current status is that i a) think that they are using VirtIO-SCSI and b) they have iso images for windows server and virtio-win drivers but you can only load one iso image at once so both isos dont help very much.
You can increase the performance of most I/O operations by installing the VirtIO guest agent and driver set. Inside the VM, download and install VirtIO guest addons (look for virtio-win-gt-x64.msi). Restart the VM afterward.
Optionally, you can enable auto-resizing/adaptive screen resizing and clipboard integration by downloading and installing the SPICE guest agent (look for the newest date, then spice-vdagent-x64.msi). Restart the VM afterward. 2ff7e9595c
